Refund Policy
Last updated September 7, 2026
The short version
All sales are final. CiteLaunch plans are one-time purchases that we start delivering immediately, so we don't offer refunds for change of mind, and we don't refund based on the results a listing does or doesn't get.
The two exceptions are below: if we fail to deliver what you paid for, and where the law where you live gives you a right we can't contract out of.
Why sales are final
When your payment clears, work starts straight away. We match your product to directories, and our submissions go out to independent third-party websites. That work can't be recalled — once a listing has been submitted or published on someone else's site, we can't take it back, and where a directory charges a listing fee on a plan that covers it, that money is already spent.
How to be sure before you buy
Because purchases are final, we try to make the decision a low-risk one:
- The free plan gets you a launch, a permanent page with a real backlink, five hand-submitted directories, and one AEO report — enough to see exactly how the service works before paying anything.
- Before checkout, the directory picker shows you which directories you'd be submitted to and how many are on-topic for your category, rather than just a number.
- If you're unsure whether a plan fits your product, email us before you buy and we'll tell you honestly.
If we don't deliver, we refund
A final-sale policy covers work we did, not work we didn't. We will refund you if:
- We never started your order — no submissions went out and no included tools were used.
- We can't deliver the plan you bought, for example because we can't submit your product at all, or we stop offering the service before your order is complete.
- You were charged twice for the same order, or charged an amount other than the price shown at checkout.
Where part of an order was delivered and part wasn't, we refund the part we didn't deliver.
What a rejected directory listing means
Directories reject listings for their own reasons, and we can't overrule them. A rejection isn't a refund, but it also doesn't consume your allowance — we submit to another directory in its place, so you get the number of submissions you paid for.
What isn't a reason for a refund
These are outcomes we're upfront about not controlling, and they don't qualify:
- No AI answer engine or search engine cited or ranked your product.
- The listings didn't bring the traffic, sign-ups, or revenue you hoped for.
- A directory took longer to review your listing than you expected, or removed it later.
- You changed your mind, launched something else, or shut the product down after buying.
- You didn't use the AI tools or launch credits included in your plan before you stopped needing them.
Sponsorship slots
Sponsorship is sold by the day for a specific slot. If we fail to run your placement for the period you bought, we'll either run it for the time it missed or refund the unused portion — your choice. Sponsorship isn't refundable for the time it did run, or based on the clicks it got.
AI credits
AI credits are spent on model calls that cost us money the moment they run, so credits you've used aren't refundable. If credits were deducted for a request that failed and returned nothing usable, tell us and we'll put them back.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page removes a right you have under the consumer law where you live. If that law gives you a cancellation or refund right that can't be waived by agreement, it applies regardless of what this policy says.
How to raise a problem
Email abhishvek@gmail.com with your order and what went wrong. We read every one of these and we'll reply. If something on our side went wrong, we'd much rather fix it or refund it than have you file a card dispute — a dispute takes weeks and tells us nothing we could have acted on.
Payments are processed by Polar as merchant of record, so any refund we approve is issued through them, back to your original payment method. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
